Coaching students across two districts
Hasirotsava Forum trained more than 50 Agriculture Quota students across Ramanagara and Mandya through focused Farm Science coaching. Many come from farming families with ambition but limited access to specialised teachers, study materials or exam strategy.
The program covers syllabus depth, mock tests and counselling on veterinary and allied seats. Parents and school heads report stronger attendance and clearer career plans after each term.
Science in the field
Sessions run at government schools and local centres so students do not need to travel to Bengaluru for quality support. Instructors use simple field examples: soil health, crop cycles, pest awareness and the science behind everyday farm decisions.
Hands-on demonstrations help abstract concepts stick. Students photograph notes, form study groups and return the following week with questions from their own villages.

Pathways beyond the classroom
Several graduates have moved into veterinary and agriculture degree programs. Others plan agri-entrepreneurship, extension work or return to family land with stronger technical judgement.
The Forum connects interested students to Krishi Sangama-style forums and partner institutions so learning does not end when coaching hours finish.
By the numbers
“When rural students get the right guidance, they do not just pass exams. They build futures for their families and communities.”
