Mission narrative
Environmental work becomes real when communities plant, nurture and protect their local ecosystems. Hasirotsava Forum has planted 5,000+ saplings and distributed 20,000+ seed balls across Karnataka, turning awareness into measurable, living impact.
Why this matters
Karnataka's green cover is under pressure from urban expansion and changing land use. Every sapling planted, every seed ball thrown and every awareness program conducted adds to a larger effort to restore biodiversity, cool urban heat islands, and build a culture of ecological responsibility.
What Hasirotsava does
Hasirotsava Forum organizes plantation drives, seed ball distribution campaigns, eco-awareness programs, green fencing initiatives and community-led biodiversity projects. The Forum partners with government schools, local bodies, institutions and CSR partners to scale environmental action.
Work on the ground
Organizing community tree-planting events at government schools, parks and public grounds, with a preference for fruit-bearing and native species that support birds and pollinators.
Manufacturing and distributing seed balls made from native plant seeds, helping communities participate in ecological restoration with minimal effort and maximum impact.
Supporting green fencing and agroforestry practices that protect farmland, restore ecosystems and provide additional livelihood benefits to rural communities.
