Leading the convoy through Bengaluru
On the 75th Independence Day, during Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Hasirotsava Forum was privileged to honour the National Security Guard Sudarshan Parikrama Chakra Rally. Fifty-eight NSG Commandos travelled across 18 cities in India in their Tata Harrier convoy, carrying a message of service and national pride.
When the rally reached Bengaluru, more than 40 bikers from Hasirotsava Forum formed the escort. Riders lined up at ASC Centre Domlur and accompanied the convoy to Jakkur, offering a visible, respectful welcome before the commandos continued their journey across the country.
A living tribute: 100 trees planted
To mark the occasion, Hasirotsava Forum planted 100 fruit-bearing trees at ASC Centre. Guava, mango and native species were chosen so the campus gains shade, bird habitat and fruit local families can share in seasons to come.
Volunteers worked alongside army staff and students who joined the planting line. The Forum also presented a memento to the commandos as a small token of gratitude for their service to the nation.

Why fruit-bearing trees matter here
Unlike ornamental planting alone, fruit trees create food for birds and pollinators while giving the ASC community something tangible to nurture. Teachers use the grove in environmental lessons; cadets and visitors see daily proof that civic gratitude can take root in soil, not only in ceremony.
Hasirotsava Forum treats such partnerships as long-term relationships. National honour and local ecology belong in the same story.
“A day of patriotism, purpose and planting hope for tomorrow.”
