Riding across borders for a purpose
Founders Arathi and Neetha Raina are entrepreneurs by profession, adventurers at heart and changemakers by conviction. They rode Royal Enfield motorcycles across India, Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh to speak about environmental awareness, climate responsibility and everyday sustainable living.
At each stop they met riders' clubs, students and local leaders. Conversations covered plastic waste, tree cover, fuel choices and how ordinary citizens can act without waiting for perfect policy conditions.
The Sacred Ride of Leh-Ladakh
Among the journeys, Arathi was selected as one of 25 women riders nationwide for a prestigious Indian Army ride through Leh-Ladakh. The route crossed some of India's highest passes in sub-zero conditions, testing endurance, navigation and teamwork.
She earned first place in rifle shooting during the event, bringing national attention to the Forum's blend of adventure, discipline and environmental advocacy.

More from the expedition
What long rides teach about leadership
Multi-day expeditions demand planning for fuel, weather, medical support and community permissions. The founders document routes, share safety protocols publicly and invite local volunteers to host riders overnight.
That operational honesty carries into Forum programs at home: clear briefings, realistic timelines and respect for people who give time on weekends.
By the numbers
“Protect Nature. Empower People. Inspire Change.”
Arathi and Neetha, Founders, Hasirotsava Forum
And this is only the beginning
Through Hasirotsava Forum the founders now lead plantation drives, rural coaching, women's training and public awareness programs across Karnataka. The Four Nations Expedition remains proof that storytelling on the road can recruit volunteers in classrooms and town halls alike.
Future ambitions include broader rides with the same message: nature protection and community participation belong in every district, not only on adventure maps.
