These terms of use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Hasirotsava Forum website operated at hasirotsavaforum.org and related pages (the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Hasirotsava Forum ("we", "us", "our") is a Section 8 nonprofit company registered in India, working on environmental, rural, women empowerment, and social impact programs primarily in Karnataka.

The Site provides information about our programs, events, impact stories, and ways to participate (such as volunteering, community membership, partnerships, event registration, and online donations). Content is provided for general information. It may be updated without notice.

When you submit a form on the Site (volunteer sign-up, membership, partnership inquiry, contact, or event registration), you confirm that the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

Submitting a form does not create a contract for employment, guarantee volunteer placement, confirm event participation, or establish a partnership. Our team will contact you where follow-up is needed. We may decline or limit participation for operational, safety, or capacity reasons.

You may make voluntary donations through our donate page. Donations are processed by Razorpay, a third-party payment gateway. By completing a donation, you confirm that the details you provide are accurate and that you are authorised to use the chosen payment method.

A donation is confirmed in our records when we receive a successful payment notification from Razorpay. This may take a short time after you complete checkout. Closing the payment window before finishing does not complete a donation.

Donations are voluntary gifts to support our programs. Unless we confirm otherwise in writing, donations are not consideration for goods or services. For questions about a donation or payment issue, contact us with your order or payment reference.

Event descriptions, dates, venues, and schedules are published in good faith and may change because of weather, permissions, safety, or other operational reasons. You are responsible for your own travel, health, and conduct when attending a program.

Always follow instructions from authorised organisers and local laws on site. Participation in outdoor or community activities may involve physical effort and inherent risks.

Volunteer roles and community membership are distinct. Volunteering may involve active field or event support subject to confirmation by our team. Community membership is a lighter way to stay informed about programs and does not by itself assign volunteer duties.

Partnership and CSR inquiries submitted through the Site are reviewed by our team. Nothing on the Site constitutes a binding sponsorship, funding, or collaboration agreement until confirmed in writing by authorised representatives of both parties.

Unless otherwise stated, text, photographs, logos, and other materials on the Site are owned by or licensed to Hasirotsava Forum and protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may share links to our pages and quote brief excerpts with attribution. You may not copy, republish, or commercially exploit Site content without our prior written permission.

If you submit content to us (for example in a message or form), you grant us a non-exclusive licence to use it for operating our programs and communicating about our work, subject to our privacy policy.

The Site may link to third-party websites or services (such as social media). We do not control and are not responsible for their content or practices. Access them at your own risk.

The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Hasirotsava Forum, its trustees, directors, employees, and volunteers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Site or participation in programs described on it.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site shall not exceed the amount you paid to us through the Site in the twelve months before the claim (or INR 1,000 if no such payment was made), except where liability cannot be limited under applicable law.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hasirotsava Forum from claims arising from your misuse of the Site or breach of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our wilful misconduct.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Site, subject to any mandatory consumer protection laws that apply to you.

We may revise these Terms at any time. The "Last updated" date will change when we do. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
