Hasirotsava Forum is a women-led Section 8 NGO founded in 2021, committed to protecting nature, empowering communities and building a greener Karnataka, one initiative at a time.
Who we are
Hasirotsava Forum was founded in 2021 as Greenotsav Forum by two passionate women riders, Arathi and Neetha Raina, united by purpose and a shared vision of creating meaningful social impact. In 2025 it was registered as a Section 8 Company under the name Hasirotsava Forum.
Our work spans environmental conservation, women empowerment, rural development, agricultural outreach, and community awareness, with programs ranging from plantation drives and bike training to agri expos and national awareness expeditions.
We partner with government bodies, CSR organizations, educational institutions and local communities to turn intention into visible, lasting impact across Karnataka.
Our story
Founding Inspiration
Award-winning agri & horticulture entrepreneur · 50+ years of dedication
The roots of Hasirotsava Forum are deeply inspired by M. Lakshmi, our Founding Inspiration, whose entrepreneurial journey in horticulture spans over 50 years. Through her dedication she has travelled across India, participated in leading agricultural and horticulture expos, and received numerous awards and recognitions for her contribution to the field.
From a young age, her daughter Aarthi travelled alongside her mother, witnessing firsthand the challenges faced by farmers and rural communities. Those experiences planted the seed for a larger purpose: to create meaningful impact in rural development, environmental sustainability and community empowerment.
During the COVID period, while supporting various NGOs and social initiatives, the vision became clearer. Soon, two passionate women riders Aarthi and Neetha Raina, united by purpose, founded Greenotsav Forum in 2021, organising meaningful social cause initiatives with the support of their fellow riders. This later evolved into Hasirotsava Forum in 2025 as a Section 8 Company.

Our founders
Co-Founder & Director
Entrepreneur by profession, adventurer at heart and changemaker by purpose. Arathi co-founded Hasirotsava Forum with a mission to inspire communities toward sustainable living, compassion and collective progress. She rode across four nations (India, Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh), championing environmental awareness, and was selected among 25 women riders for the prestigious Indian Army's Leh–Ladakh ride, securing 1st place in rifle shooting.
Co-Founder & Director
Entrepreneur and passionate adventure biker who believes that one powerful journey can ignite thousands of minds. Neetha co-founded Hasirotsava Forum to build a movement rooted in impact and kindness, spanning environmental conservation, women empowerment, rural development and education. For her, leadership is about action, resilience and inspiring others to rise with purpose.
